PURPOSE STATEMENT Due to development in the electronic business there is an ever increasing requirement to connect different sorts of devices to form a working unit i.e. Data communications, voice communications, picture sending, television, etc. As the world of electronics is expanding literally every minute, the need to connect these devices increases at a phenomenal rate.
Computers need to connect with other computers, industrial machines need to be started from distant locations, security observation needs to be done from a central point on cameras, people need to communicate via telephones with others, access control needs do be done on different entrances from a central location, and so the list goes on.
All of these electronic devices need to be connected to each other or a central point via some sort of carrier medium, being copper cable, Fibre Optic Cable, Radio networks, Infra-red beams, laser beams, microwave etc.
The choice of a carrier device is determined by distances, interferences, observability, speed, quality etc.
All of these carrier devices is to be connected to converters, switches, hubs, modems, PABX’s, multiplexers, PLC’s etc to convert from carrier medium to be readable by the electronic device and to perform certain instructions send to them from remote locations.
As a result of this enormous growth in this industry so-called cabling and network company’s have mushroomed all over the world, advertising their expertise, without the necessary industry standard equipment, knowledge and manpower to live up to there promises and thus fail to deliver a professional service leaving the customer with either non-working or slow equipment.

CONNECTIVITY TECHNOLOGY would first determine a customers needs to the full extend and make sure that we understand the needs correctly. After analysing the needs we would come up with suggestions which would, if possible, fit the customer’s budget. The solution is then discussed with the customer and if needed, further more lucrative suggestions which might exceed the budget but be exactly what the customer needed, can then be discussed.
A total turn-key solution is then discussed with the customer to make sure we both understand it correctly and the customers needs have been perceived and announced correctly.
As and when an order is placed on CONNECTIVITY TECHNOLOGY the customer would be immediately informed that the order was placed. The customer would then be send the name and contact number of the allocated project leader. The project leader would then liaise with the customer a schedule of times and dates for each step of the delivery and installation process as well as requests for down time if necessary on their current network with minimal disruption to the customers daily activities. During the installation process the customer would be kept up to date with all proceedings.
On completion of installation the customer will receive all relevant documentation, test results, layout’s etc.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The company was established during 1990 as a Network installer company.
In the beginning we only did computer network cable installations but as the need arises we realised the need to become a total solution company in the networking industry. With the offering on total solutions we also realised there is a demand for other networking products in the market, like CCTV-, Telephone-, communication- networks etc.
All of this necessitated a growth in the company and since 2000 we have experienced a tremendous growth.
Our head office is situated in Pretoria, with a branch in Rustenburg but we do installations Nationally as well as Internationally.
The management of the company is in capable hands.
The Managing Director of the business is a well known person in this Industry for the past 25 years. He has a vast experience of the industry and his advice is sought after by many other installers. Our MD is also the initiator of Blown Fibre in Africa.
